Play outdoor games for kids with your kids, friends and family. Have fun and be active with these easy activities and games for kids to play outdoors. These pages will provide you with the rules of a lot of games to be played in small and bigger groups. All the games are social, active and fun to play.

It can sometimes be difficult to get the kids motivated to get them to play outside, but not if you have a few games in mind. Make it funny, exciting, active and hilarious with different races, relays, ball and water games. Playing together is very important and a good lesson in social skills and being active and outdoors is also very healthy. SO….

Hop off the couch and jump in for some fun !!!

Whether you like to play fun variations of tag, relays, races or prefer to play with a ball, or with water, or play hide-and-seek……YOU can all find it here on these outdoor games for kids pages.
Let’s create some life time memories and build a piece of creativity together. Once your kids get the hang of creating fun outside games, they don’t want to come inside anymore. The best games are the ones the kids invent themselves. All they need is a piece of chalk, and some basic stuff they should be able to find in any garage, like rope, balls, empty bottles and off they go….create an obstacle course… My kids favorites!

Do you remember the three-legged race or the sack race? Hilarious fun.

And what about capture the flag? My personal favorite, since I clearly remember bringing the flag back to our base and being the hero of the game….

But on hot summer days you have to try out our water tug-of-war. Be strong and pull the other team into the water sprinkler! Take a look at the water games. Or better yet, hop around until you find YOUR favorite!

Spy Games

Who doesn't want to be a detective?

Let the kids take one big cardboard box and cut out two holes big enough so they can put their hands in the box.

Now somebody puts something in the box and the detective has to guess what it is.

Some ideas to put in the box:

- A soft inflated balloon
- Cooked spaghetti
- Pine cone
- Slime
- Sticky hand

Let them come up with better ideas!
